The Greater St. Louis Association of Umpires was founded in 1939 for the purpose of providing the top high school and college baseball umpires in the St. Louis area and to serve as a model for umpire associations throughout the country. More professional baseball umpires have come from our association than from any other association in the state of Missouri.
